Frederick Weston Memorial Forest

Managed by the Weston Committee, the Frederick Weston Memorial Forest is a 220-acre park with walking and horseback riding trails. According to SE MA Equine News’ website, this park is a “horseback rider’s hidden treasure.” The blue trail takes you around the entire perimeter of the forest, the red trail brings you along the top of a beautiful ridge line and the yellow trail will take you through pine groves and grassy trails. Directly across the street is the Rocky Gutter Wildlife Area, which has a variety of trails providing hours of riding, hunting and fishing recreation.
