Let’s learn about our favorite star with Ms. Marsha at Middleborough Public Library. On August 21st there will be a solar eclipse, the first one visible in the United States in 38 years! Let’s learn all we can about the sun before the event occurs. Children will watch videos, hear stories and engage in hands-on activities. Each family will receive a packet of information about the August 21st eclipse. This program is best for kids in Kindergarten and up.

Every month of the year there are many different things to celebrate. During this group time, for preschoolers, we will be acknowledging various monthly things that are recognized- such as Honey Month, Kite Month, Soup Day, etc. Enjoy books, songs, sensory experiences, and art related to these celebrations. Carol Carver of Self Help Inc.'s Coordinated Family and Community Engagement will be leading this program for 3-6 year olds and their caregivers. Space is limited. Contact the library to register.
Interested in snap circuits? Want to learn to knit? Stop by this drop in program for the chance to try your hand at these and other projects in our pop up makerspace. A variety of materials and tools will be available each time. Best for kids age 7 and up.
There will be 45 minutes of stories and songs. A simple craft will be created related to one of the stories. Each family will leave with a packet of information including how to best enjoy the summer sky.
No registration required.
