1:30-2:30- Solar Eclipse Program: Kids can come to the library to learn about the Sun, how a solar eclipse occurs, and create a sun cookie to eat! We will focus on safe viewing behavior before handing out special glasses and going out to see the eclipse during its peak.
Every month of the year there are many different things to celebrate. During this group time, for preschoolers, we will be acknowledging various monthly things that are recognized- such as Honey Month, Kite Month, Soup Day, etc. Enjoy books, songs, sensory experiences, and art related to these celebrations. Carol Carver of Self Help Inc.'s Coordinated Family and Community Engagement will be leading this program for 3-6 year olds and their caregivers. Space is limited. Contact the library to register.
